Whats the first stages of a build?

After the plan is done and the lot is selected, the very first few stages that will happen is excavation, footings, basement walls, rough ground work plumbing, and then slab gets poured. Backfill happens soon after to prepare for the framers to be on site.

What goes into a Site Selection?

Outside of personal preference, we look at the plan and our preconstruction notes with the client. Once a site has been agreed to shooting the grade and determining setback requirements are the first items we do. Setbacks can be in the Restrictive Covenants or through Municupal oversight. At this phase we will layout how the house or building will orient on the parcel.

What is the process for a Roof Replacement?

The process is pretty simple. First we will visit the site and measure. We will put the home into our pictometry software which will verify our measurments. We will prepare a bid taking into account the location and other cicrumstances that your property conveys. Once the bid is agreed to, we will take care of filing for the permit (if applicable), set a time/date for our crew to start. Once we are done with the replacement, we do a final walk around and cleanup of the site. Easy peezy.

How do you build a deck or sunroom without damaging my yard?

Well we all need to uinderstand that it is a construction zone so there will be some vegetation disturbance. We try our best to minimize any yard damage by using geomatting when bringing in equipment. This helps dispurse the track loaders weaight and protect the vegetation. At the end of the project, We put the property back to a finished state which means we will sod, seed, bring dirt in, etc. so that your finished project is beautuful without you fighting for the next year to make your yard look nice again! It is a service that we do that separates us from other firms as they will not redo any landscaping!
